A device needs a clear job in the home. If it adds steps without solving a daily problem, we leave it out.
About Lotus Smart Living Pte Ltd · Singapore
Smart home technology earns its place when it respects everyone who lives with it, including the person who never asked for another device. Lotus Smart Living Pte Ltd makes practical AI for families, older adults and caregivers, with local knowledge and support that stays after installation.
People come first.
Grounded in local homes
Our base at Stirling Road keeps assessment, installation and support connected to the households we work with.
HDB layouts. Family routines. Clear handovers.
Our reason for starting
We saw families trying to coordinate care for ageing parents across busy workdays, separate homes and changing routines. Technology could help with everyday tasks, but only if it fitted the household and the older person had a say.
That shaped our work: choose a real household need first, then decide whether a device belongs there. That stays true.
See how our packages put this into practiceA device needs a clear job in the home. If it adds steps without solving a daily problem, we leave it out.
People should understand what a system senses and who can see its information before it is switched on.
We explain device behaviour in plain language, including its limits and what to do when something changes.
Handover includes time for family training. Our support team remains available after the installer leaves.
Local knowledge, practical choices
A smart home plan has to fit the flat, not the other way around. We account for older blocks as well as standard BTO layouts, including compact utility yards and the location of the distribution board.
Every flat differs.
We check existing wiring and room access before suggesting devices, keeping changes practical for the flat you already have.
Explore HDB solutionsWe plan around the actual floor plan, household habits and available power points before recommending a setup.
Plan for your flatFor smart-enabled estates, we consider how existing systems work with the devices a family wants to add.
Discuss your setupWe look for reversible options that can suit tenants as well as owners. The installation briefing can be adapted for multilingual households, with time to make sure the older person can use the controls comfortably.
Built into the setup
Monitoring should begin with a conversation with the person being monitored. We explain what each option can detect and agree who in the family needs access before activation.
Consent comes first.
Where monitoring is needed, we can discuss non-camera sensing options. The right choice depends on the household, the person's comfort and the task the family needs help with.
Access should match a person's role in care. We help families consider who needs alerts and who does not need to see every detail.
Alerts can support family coordination. They do not replace emergency services, a clinician's advice or direct contact when someone needs help.
Support from assessment onward
Devices change. Interfaces and firmware change too. Our team keeps learning so the guidance families receive stays useful after setup.
Maps the household's routines, access needs and priorities before recommending a setup.
Fit and test devices in the context of the home, then show residents how the controls work.
Consider readable interfaces, straightforward controls and the needs of older adults with limited digital confidence.
Helps households understand changes, resolve setup issues and keep family members informed.
A first conversation, at your pace
We’ll discuss the flat, who will use the technology and what the family hopes to make easier. The first discussion is for scoping, with no pressure to choose a system on the spot.
